My Dad called me this morning, really excited about a new record he’d picked up without knowing anything about it. And it was this! Checked it out on Spotify and yeah, it’s magnificent.

Had to use the search to find this recommendation so I could say ‘cheers’! Had never heard of her but easily my favourite of the last few weeks.
I was until Ray Guns and The Thrill which felt a bit like they’d been just thrown on top as an after thought. But otherwise, yeah.

Ah excellent! Glad to hear you liked it and that’s a pretty apt summary too. It’s probably their most dense record I reckon. If you’re a fan of their more funky talking heads style jams then head straight to the School of Language records. Dave’s one from last year was highly danceable take down on Trump that somehow didn’t end up sounding pants.
