Initially wary after reading some lukewarm reactions, but liked the pre-release tracks and been listening to the album today. Really impressed. Some very good tunes on there.

If there’s a chance you’ll like it, but you’ve been put off by some reviewd, I’d definitely give it a spin or three.

Kind of with you on this. Some of the criticisms stand up but there aren’t really any other post-hardcore/whatever bands about doing this kind of thing these days - and as someone who hasn’t listened to Relationship of Command in a long time but rinsed it as a kid - I kind of think this is fine. Not a classic but certainly not as offensive as some are making out.

Its actually good! I like the fact that they decided to write an album full of straight up punk rock bangers. I think it’ll sit in very well with everything else overtime. Its a different color of ATDI.

To be fair not many people have said they don’t like it. General consensus seems to be ‘it’s fine’.

For me it’s very ATDI by numbers. Nothing amazing, doubt I’ll come back to it much, but it’s not awful.

It sounds like them doing impressions of themselves 15 years ago, they’ve all moved on from this music. No jim ward, cedric sounds completely bloodless, rehashed ideas. The whole thing sounds tired and disingenuous.

Like basically everyone has said, it’s not abysmal. Just pretty mediocre and seems a bit pointless all told.
