Pretty much fully agree with this. Swap the vocals out for Arca’s and this would’ve sounded right at home on his s/t this year.

Much more maudlin than what I was expecting given how it’s been talked up this year. Very pretty but not much memorable about it. Kind of worried about the album now. But like someone else noted, I’ve not really loved a full album by her for a while now…

Well, the cover is undeniably bloody awful, but it’s bloody awful in the only way that makes sense with Björk. You get the notion that most people try and reign Kanda in a bit, but Björk is just basically ‘fuck it, go wild, rainbow space vaginas on my forehead, please’.
