BC Camplight - The Last Rotation Of Earth
Art-pop. Sixth album from Brian Christinzio made following the breakup of his 9 year relationship. The resulting album goes into some dark places at times - some bits remind me of Leonard Cohen. Musically there’s some with strings adding a bit of foreboding and others with synths lifting things up. He’s a fantastic lyricist and this might be his best work yet.
LP Giobbi - Light Places
Housey pop music or poppy house music. Really enjoyed the pre-release tracks and expect to keep coming back to this one through the summer.
