Right, it’s too late to edit my first post…but I have now had a proper listen and can highly recommend it. It’s had the kind of impact that I’m going to put it on again almost immediately. There’s more of a change up in pace and acoustics on this album…but it’s still super super smooth r&b/electro-soul, with gorgeous beats and that fantastic androgynous voice.

Actually the tracks that were JUST rumbling in the background I didn’t mind so much. I could imagine enjoying them in an ‘ambient music to read a book to’ kind of way. The rest of the album where he bleats tunelessly over the rumbling in the background was insuffferable.

Stumbled across this yesterday playing in the record store in town. Nice psych riffs, similar to Wooden Shjips, sit alongside tracks that are almost drone like, rumbling on.
