The “Tripping” Nils Frahm release is incredible, nearest he has to an electronic record and very immersive experience. Listened to it twice already.

pretty confident @rupturerapture would not have concerns as being identified as the user behind Rupture // Rapture, having shared his work here in the past.

Agree it is sounding good!

New single today from Obey Robots, which is Laura who used to be She Makes War, and Rat out of Ned’s Atomic Dustbin (!). It’s very good, bit grunge, bit motorik, catchy, not as Christmassy as the title sounds

forgive me, but i’ve put out a shitty old album i made 17 years ago as a kid in dance ejay. it’s meant to lift your spirits, so dont send me any money send it to real artists making real music, but seeing as i’ve never been in this thread before… and might never again, allow me this dalliance

Flying Moon in Space - S/T on Fuzz Club Records. German band from Leipzig and it’s a mix of Krautrock, psychedelic pop and techno-indebted electronics. I’ve just bought the vinyl - sounds really good.

Release of a lovely new track from Departure Lounge (ex-Bella Union) ahead of their new album next year.

Really looking forward to this and nice to have them back:

this includes someone from here? I’m just listening for the first time, it’s really good!

This is very good! Wish it was on Spotify, but can understand why they would want to make some money out of it!

Thanks - enjoyed that. Laura’s podcast Attention Engineer is worth a listen too if you are yet to be acquainted.

I dip in and out of Attention Engineer. Too many podcasts, not enough time…

Opal Onyx are releasing “Vessel”, their first album in six years, today on Tin Angel, who are also having their first sale in ages (across all three imprints). Beautiful electronic drone pop.
