Harpy, synthy, indie folk. Apparently she’d asked other friends/musicians to send her some drum beats for her to start to write songs to based on those, instead of starting with her harp. Has Conor O’Brien/Villagers, Rozi Plain, and Kate Stables/This Is The Kit, Rachel Horwood/Bas Jan and Rachael Dadd guesting on it.
This is good and a lot poppier than the description makes it sound. Reminds of parts of the ANOHNI album and Sigur Ros circa Kveikur, but with some really catchy songwriting.
Morning all, not sure if this snuck in last week (they released it on the 6th) but the new Windows 96 album (chill out vapour wave) is excellent.

Vacations - No Place Like Home
Australian indie/jangle pop. Saw them play a nice set at Great Escape last year. Reminds me of early Two Door Cinema Club and other such things. Summery (of course).
Bloody Head - Perpetual Eden
Chaotic, caustic noise rock. Fast, obnoxious and brutal. For fans of taking your shirt off and swinging it round your head.
