We’re still getting some great new releases despite being so late in the year. What’s on your radar?
Saint Etienne - The Night
90s survivors with meditative beatless ambient pop. Really looking forward to hearing this.

Roc Marciano & The Alchemist - The Skeleton Key
One of the most consistent rappers of recent years with another collab with legendary producer The Alchemist.
And I’m going to link to this even though it came out last week (albeit Boomkat only): dub techno from elusive Japanese producer.

New EP from the German art-pop / electronic artist, coming off the back of her collaboration with Rrose earlier in the year.

Rotary Club - Sphere Of Service
Reno, Nevada punky art pop debut album.
Snow Caps - Notes
Lo-fi indie. Snow Caps is the solo project of Andrew Keller (of Hermit Thrushes) from the Philly DIY scene.
Today is a lot busier than expected.
@rupturerapture - Full Club Drop
Melodic techno
The Cure - Live at the Troxy
The new album in full from the live stream a few weeks ago.
And most importantly
The Nephilim - Zoon
The remastered and expanded version of the Carl McCoy album at I seem to tbe the only person in the world to love. Very excited. (metal / goth)

Mickey Callisto - Supernova
FFO - Queen, Robbie Williams. Not his best and the drums sound a bit awkward but still a banger.

Was very impressed by the lead single of this. Jazz set from Tortoise founding member - improvised pieces which is even more impressive given the coherence on offer. Well reviewed and this will almost definitely be in my top 2 Jazz releases of the year. Would have to be special to topple Kamasi from the No1 spot, mind.

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre (producer) with a ‘spiritual successor’ to Doggy Style
Not expecting all that much from it
This is one of the sound desk guys from Toast right?
Pink Mexico - what movie ends like this? Pt 1
Fuzzy indie / shoegaze. Is good.
Seems like a really great recording, the individual instruments are all so clear!
I had no idea there was a new Argwaan album coming. I loved 2021’s In A Surge Of Anguish but was less enamoured with 2023’s follow up. Let’s see if the Dutch atmo black metaller’s album number three grabs me like the first did.

Search Results - Hot Night EP
Lo-fi indie rock. Following up last year’s debut album with another cassette EP. I’ve read there’s a new album coming next year recorded by Mikey Young so this might be a clear out of the lo-fi vaults before that.
