I just cannot get into them at all. Their appeal is still an absolute mystery to me.

This is great, never head of her before, but really enjoying it

Still not convinced they’re some sort of joke played on the music buying public

I always think of them when I drive past Sleaford. It’s usually after a dreadful hour of going at 40 over the fens.

Strong week, I reckon.
Loved the Pom Poko album, the Beach Bunny EP and (off the recommendations on here) Body in the Thames and Shame.

Liked the Insides album, but then really loved the old records (especially the Earwig stuff) which had totally passed me by, so thanks to all who recommended delving into that back catalogue.

Also quite enjoyed Cheekface and that Patricia Brennan vibraphone album.

Slaeaford Mods still not my cup of tea.

Didn’t vote for Heather Leigh as it’s actually from June last year but it is a good record if anyone missed it then.

Would it be remiss to vote for myself here?

Seems like cheating somehow, I’ll honorably sit this one out unless it looks like I need one more vote to come first

So this finally arrived, more than three weeks after the release date. Is anyone else having real trouble with Bleep/ochre at the moment? They say to allow for 7 days till dispatch ‘due to extremely high order volumes’ but stuff isn’t getting sent out for weeks. I know Covid is causing all sorts of issues but it seems like they’re utterly swamped and saying nothing. Their Trustpilot score has tanked.

This is absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah I need to go back to this actually, thanks for the reminder, really made an impression but I only gave it one spin for some reason.

Did you set aside an afternoon to catch up on 2021 releases?

I did! Was giving out that there were no good new albums so I figured I should go back through the threads.
