My guess would be they’re working on US time with a couple hours left till release.
I didn’t really gel with the last album but this is getting good reviews so I might give it a listen after caning the Soulwax album.

I think Spotify might have updated the format of their share links. Doesn’t seem to work in Lynkify either and no metadata is pulled when you access the link.

[edit] Seems like it wasn’t this, since some of the other links are still getting Spotify added. I wonder if it’s something like what uns_nd said. I get a 400 error when I first create the link, which makes me wonder if I’m the first to create it and if there are some timezone related shenannigans going on when it first creates the entity then it can’t find the Spotify one and doesn’t add it or correct it later.
New Skullcrusher today, well excited. Kinda folk-ish, not a million miles from Grouper, Julia Holter etc.
Will give the new They Are Gutting A Body of Water record (kinda shoegazey?) a go, too.

I love Noiserv. Will surely bein my end of month list, and hopefully good enough for the year list too. Portuguese one-mand looping band, with a whole assortment of instruments and toy/twinkly noises. And such a lovely voice. FAO @Marwood

Their debut was one of my favourites of 2023. Slow indie rock with 90s alt rock vibes. FFO speedy Ortiz or ovlov maybe.

Steve Hauschildt - Aeropsia
First release in a good few years from the Emeralds member. Ambient/synth music, with some added guitar & cello - has been sounding very promising from the preview tracks.
Aeropsia (which roughly translates as “seeing the air”) refers to a visual phenomenon in which objects appear to float or shimmer, often due to changes in pressure, perception, atmospheric shifts or neurological disturbance. This becomes a metaphor for the liminality that informs the record: blurry visions, dreamlike displacements, and the fragile membrane separating what is seen from what is felt.
