He has a real “pick-up artist” vibe to him (potentially because he looks like a cross between Roosh V and that Carl Benjamin fella)

Vagabon is lovely.
Looking forward to Hovvdy. Battles, floating points. Didn’t know there was new Jeff rosenstock so will check that. Foals because part 1 really surprised me but not optimistic about part 2.I think it will be the boring stadium rock album. I’ll be happy if I’m wrong though

He’s always been pretty insufferable.

Really liking the new Marilyn Manson single too.

Foals is sounding pretty decent (despite the above attempts to get ‘em cancelled  )

Looking forward to getting stuck into the new Caroline Polacheck. Love Chairlift and the singles have all been pretty great.

By most accounts the new Jimmy Eat World is a return to form, the singles have been strong so looking forward to that. Sufjan is a curio but deffo gonna have a listen. The new From Indian Lakes is out today too. That’d be my recommendation this week. All the songs released so far have been excellent.

Just the Mark Lanegan for me.
Hopefully the LP is at my house when I get home. Knowing the Royal Mail service where I live…Monday at the earliest

Didn’t know there was new MM coming. Loved The Pale Emperor, and liked the one after.

Just listened to Beabadoobee’s Space Cadet EP which was breezy fun with some nicely textured guitar and those good dreamy female vocals which are all the rage these days.

Now got on Yin Yin’s album The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers on the strength of the name and artwork. Seems to be funky Thai flavoured instrumentals, would appeal to you Khruangbin fans out there

Common Holly and Blue Hawaii although the latter isn’t that good on first listen. There’s quite a few artists I’ve never heard of before being mentioned here. I’ll give them a listen. Cheers.

Haven’t listened to it yet, but going in with very low expectations on Refused:

Trouble Books! Trouble Books! Trouble Books!

Floating points is excellent. Gave it a quick go earlier but having a proper listen on headphones now and it sounds so good.

Jemma Freeman and The Cosmic Something for me, trans-dimensional glam brilliance, they’re properly incredible

Also the 4 billion things I need to check out from earlier in the month

Yup. If people aren’t listening to this they’re really missing out imo

He always looks confused, blank faced.

For sure, saw them at Loud Women festival and they absolutely blew my mind, the comparisons to Bowie are well deserved imo, mostly cos they aren’t quite like anyone else

Also I’m putting them on in Cambridge next month so everyone should come to that
