Ah mate, this comment has absolutely made my day  It’s a strange thing, making music. Like you, I bloody love that era, so when I’m making a record like this I’m ‘succeeding’ by making something which I like and which stands up to the process of listening to it over and over again in the production phase. But then when someone really connects in that same way it’s… I dunno, it elevates it somehow. Delighted with the packaging as well!

Also really pleased every time someone highlights Lucid Nonsense - it’s definitely my favourite

The second half of that Ovlov LP’s great actually.

Eerily quiet innit? Even all my tiny electronic record label pals seem to have taken a week off.

I’ve been digging through the releases, and I’m not a huge Punch Brothers fan (although I highly respect their musicianship), but their new album is really great

Listening to it today has inspired me to get the korg out!

Big fan of any set up that looks a little like the beginnings of a doomsday weapon.

Only ever heard them covering stuff before (including my username)

The new Cult Party is a lovely bit of meditative, Microphones-y goodness and I’m enjoying it a whole lot

Really enjoyed The Internet and Ty Segall/White Fence today.

A pal of mine pointed out how Odd Future have somehow transformed into some of the best (or at least most popular) creators of queer r&b today, which I don’t think anyone saw coming?

It had completely passed me by that this was coming out. Loving it on first few listens, quite sprawling Americana feel to it with some death cab finesse

Yeah! I can totally see that. I’m rather new to their music, but I think this might be favorite of their more recent records.

Been lurking here for a while but have to break silence to say this is ace. They Sublimed is so so good. Thank you.

Yeah, so far the second half feels stronger. Tru Punk is by far the standout for me.

:grinning: cheers! (And welcome)

It’s an absolute belter, isn’t it? Much more varied than Hair but shows off both artists styles rather nicely indeed.

Kendl Winter - Stumbler’s Business

indie, folky kind of stuff…

Oh, nice, thanks. I really enjoyed The Mechanics of Hovering Flight way back when.
