Iām enjoying the new Lanterns on the Lakeā¦I usually find them to tread too closely to MOR music, but this has a little more drama to it. A few too many āon the noseā lyrics aside, itās a lovely āwide screenā, post-rock influenced indie rock record.
Both the Agnes Obel and Rebecca Foon albums appear to be very nice orchestral popā¦prefer the latter so far but only had one listen of each.
Prefer Miss Anthropocene to Art Angelsā¦but thats personal as I find AAās production to not be to my taste. Still not at the heights of Visions, though.
Feel like I should listen to King Krule as heās somehow crept above Bright Eyes at EOTRā¦but Iāve never been bothered before. I think Iāll leave the Moses Sumney record (which Iām very hyped for) until it comes out in full in May.
