The Jay Som record is everything I wanted it to be. I am so happy.

The new Alexander Tucker for me, and Ginger Wildheart’s latest solo LP as well (it came out last week but I didn’t know about it 'til today…)

Horsebeach. That unmistakably delicate touch of rummaging through Mothers panty draw while she’s away at mahjong. Oh me. Oh my.

Have been enjoying Headie One’s new mixtape (uk rap/drill). Need to check out the new Brockhampton album

Don’t know loads about them tbh/tbf but this is a solid gold 80s banger, especially as it’s 4 o’clock in the morning, and still I cannot sleep

Check out WAAX for a bit of pop punk

Carriers - Now Is The Time For Loving Me, Yourself & Everyone Else

Has the drummer from The National and the bass player from The Afghan Whigs playing on it. Judging by the singles I would say for fans of…The War on Drugs

 don’t tell anyone.

If too many people found out it would be top of the AOTM thread😊

New Rachel Sermanni is lovely

Lunch Lady - Angel

Debut album by the LA quartet, drawing on post-punk, kitsch and country balladry narratives.

I’ve had it on all weekend pretty much. Can’t get enough of it. Probably my favourite album of theirs since Rohnert Park.

they weren’t well received in the powerviolence scene so I’m glad they moved on

they were massive in that scene and people still stick by them to this day from that?

New Red Kross out on Merge

absolute lushness

perfect for the sunny bank holiday, and I can tell it’ll be perfect for those slow Autumn evenings as well

Joyero isn’t anything like I thought it would be. Some of it reminds of lots of mid-2000s bands, and sort of has a Jesus and Mary chain vibe too. Quite enjoying it, thanks for mentioning it.

that “another guy” song just sounds like 2 TWOD songs jammed together, is the rest of the album as derivative?

Is it not Adam singing on it? Sounds so similar …

Everyone listen to that Rapsody album! Gee whizz it’s good!
