Morning rich
New Pile AND Big Thief. What a day.
Morning mate
Big week - Big Thief and Vampire Weekend the highlights for me.
Really looking forward to Drahla’s debut album today. I know it’s very Sonic Youth, but they do it well and are great live.
Big Thief Drahla Protomartyr reissue of No Passion All Technique
Might try Vampire Weekend but that album cover and the one track I’ve heard do not entice me much
Protomartyr and Paula Temple on top of my list.
And you?
FFS!! @moderators could you merge these pls
Haha we even used the same date format.
Done!
The Dream Syndicate is the biggie for me but I also have Patience (Roxanne from Veronica Falls), Flamingods and Filthy Friends (Peter Buck/Corin Tucker) lined up.
Kedr Livanskiy - YOUR NEED
Halfway through the new Vampire Weekend one. Opening track is lush.
After that, got the new Big Thief lined up.
Great day!
Tacocat - This Mess Is A Place sub-pop signed, 90’s pop rock vibe. FFO Courtney Barnett/Camp Cope. Not far in but really nice so far
All about that Big Thief album!
Also noticed there is a new Tricot ep on Spotify - Japanese math rock.
Flamingods and Big Thief for meeeeee
Benedict Benjamin - Truant Oh Land - Family Tree Laura Misch - Lonley City
I think Caterina Barbieri’s Ecstatic Computation is out today.
