It’s time for the tunes - all hail the music board! All hail the music board!
Los Bitchos - Talkie Talkie
Trying to cling onto summer with some shiny psych surf jams. Always good fun

Seefeel - Everything Squared
First new album in over a decade, hoping for some dreamy dubby shoegaze as per
Jon Hopkins - RITUAL
a 41-minute electronic symphony built from cavernous subs, hypnotic drumming and transcendent melodic interplay […] counterpart to 2021’s Music For Psychedelic Therapy
Enumclaw - Home In Another Life
Second album of heartfelt emo-grunge-indie rock from Washington state
A few from me today
Sean Henry - HEAD
Indie pop with a soft grunge/90s and slowcore vibe
Oceanator - Everything is Love and Death
Touring member of Bachelor’s 3rd album. Bit of an emo/alt tinge maybe. I’ve really enjoyed the last 2 so been looking forward to this.
Why Bonnie - Wish on the Bone
Indie slacker pop with a Wednesday and Waxahatchee vibe
Sorry these aren’t the best descriptions, but brain doesn’t seem to be functioning today
Chelsea Wolfe - Undone EP
Remixes EP from the goth witch, featuring †††, Forest Swords and others.
“She Reaches Out’ felt like the perfect record to have official remixes for since it’s themed so heavily with transformation. I called in some artists I really respect to expand upon the sonic universe we created with Dave Sitek and it’s been such a treat and delight to hear each song come back transformed!
Tristwych Y Fenywod - Tristwych Y Fenywod
Debut proper from the experimental Leeds supergroup
a Welsh-language gothic avant-rock power-coven
NEW NICK CAVE
Nice Cave and the Bad Seeds - Wild God
It’s it boring new style Cave or have any oomph at all?
suburban eyes
ex members of old emo bands
Fatima Al Qadiri - Seeking Mavis Beacon OST
Would much rather have a proper record from her than a soundtrack, but this should still have its moments. Moody electronic atmospheres, probably.
New Duster album.
Expect drones and ambience
We Are The Willows - IV
OK, this is a delight. Coming to the end of my first listen, and I’m in love already. Looks like I found the from a Tiny Albums playlist a few years ago. Beautiful almost-otherworldly orchestral indie folk. The singer’s voice is great too.
Doon Kanda - Lili
I had this as my first random listen after midnight, and it was a very strange album to go to sleep during/after. Strange distorted high pitched vocals, a bit Sleep Party People-esque, strange instruments, maybe like an enticing nightmare.
Hope some sun comes back for Why Bonnie, they’re made for sunny evenings
Listening now. This is filled with some lovely sunny vibes. Sunny down south ATM.
The Bug Club - On the Intricate Inner Workings of the System
What a day for guitars. Fun and funny garage stompers, ripping solos, dipping into Wave Pictures territory too
Andrew Wasylyk & Tommy Perman - Ash Grey and the Gull Glides On
New collaboration from the Scottish composers on Clay Pipe Music. I absolutely love Andrew Wasylyk’s calm, melodic modern classical but am yet to hear any Tommy Perman solo stuff. On first listen this is great, with some unexpected beats.
Hoping my copy arrives today, feels like I pre-ordered it a year ago.
