It’s the second album by Crumb! Their first one was great. Wistful yet winsome indie rock with dreamy female vocals.

Just got it on. Quite enjoying the theme of it all spoken word bits etc. Their songs seem to have dropped into the good, but not great category these days, but they do have a sound of their own.

Marius Neset - A New Dawn

Solo tenor sax record of the Norwegian’s own compositions. Your mileage from this really depends on how much you like the instrument. I’ve had it on this morning for the nursery run and a bit of housework and I love it.

New EP (“Nostalgia”) from jangly indiepopsters Lost Ships

:arrow_forward:︎ Nostalgia | Lost Ships (bandcamp.com)

Enjoying this on first listen. Often skip over soundtrack albums entirely, particularly of stuff I haven’t/am not going to watch, but having a concept/theme to follow works pretty well for FlyLo and pushes him in some different directions. Can see me playing this more than his last studio album tbh

Hoping my Manchester Orchestra and Beachy Head records arrive. Also looking forward to Girl In Red and seeing whatever else is going on.

I thought Tip of The Sphere came out in 2019?

Fred Nevche & French 79 - The Unreal Story of Lou Reed

Bit niche this one - spoken word French over electronic beats - as if someone decided Air’s 10, 000 Hz Legend wasn’t French enough and needed to be a theme record about the life of Lou Reed.

After a 7 year gap between albums, left-field R&B singer Rochelle Jordan returns with a sound that fuses UKG, 90s R&B like Janet and Aaliyah, and future bass sounds. Released on TOKiMONSTA’s label and with production from the likes of Machinedrum. KLSH, Jacques Greene and Jimmy Edgar, on first listen it sounds like an innovative collection of sultry and forward thinking dance floor heaters.
