I’ve seen the show but oddly remember very little about there being any music. Intriguing, will listen.

Really enjoying Fontaines DC. Makes me want to go to Dublin!

Definitely has that ‘debut’ feel of a collection of all their first songs, in a sense, rather than a cohesive album. Every track works in its own right, though. Will be very interested to hear where they go next.

So far really this morning i’ve really enjoyed the Fontains DC album and the Chemical Brothers. Actually surprised how good the chemical Bros one is. The lack of special guests really helps it flow into one big toe tapper. (As the kids do say.)

The new Yohuna single is decent

Chemical Brothers sounds great. 3 times through and it’s consistent throughout (not a given for them) and Catch Me I’m Falling is lovely.
Possibly going to be up there as their best album. Possibly.

Moving onto Fontaines DC now in prep for seeing them tomorrow.

it’s great (imo) - seems a shame they didn’t utilise it very well.

Damien Jurado has a new record out. It’s quiet and beautiful collection of songs.

I’ve only been listening to the tracks with features but I don’t think people will be disappointed if they’re looking for a soulful return from Anderson .Paak. The song with Brandy GROOVES.

I mean I personally want Anderson to sing and play drums on an R&B-jazz crossover supergroup album but this will do for now.

Having my 3rd listen through to Anderson .Paak’s ‘Ventura’

it’s retro as all hell and super smooth. I really like it, very much up my street. Can’t help feeling that the lack of spring/summer weather here in Stockholm is taking the edge off some of the vibe but I can see myself really rinsing this record on the portable speakers once barbecue season kicks in

also, Oxnard was fine

Might try the Chems record in a bit but I’m always worried about how patchy they can be

Having said that, Got To Keep On is my single of the year so far so…we’ll see

Looks like the Flaming Lips have something new coming out tomorrow for record store day called ‘kings mouth’?

aye it’s their new album i think

Wooden Shjips live album is out today, don’t know whether it’s on streaming services or not

Not a big Chems fan at all but I’m enjoying the new album.
Easily their best album this century.

The new Chems is astonishingly good, I’m taken aback. Gotta be their best since the 90s. Gravity Drops might be my track of 2019 so far,

I normally find them really patchy but man, it is cohesive. You’ll love it I reckon

Somehow Eve of Destruction manages to be both classic house & punk-funk in one

Every track has something that I haven’t really heard before. Such a nice surprise, this.
