New releases March 8

#21

Saw him play that kind of stuff at Cafe Oto. Was truly terrible, walked out in the end.

#22

LP reissue of Hospice by The Antlers for me.

#23

Oh no, why so bad?

#24

Given my total lack of interest in Foals’ last album, and total indifference to the songs they released prior to today’s album… actually quite surprised how much i’m enjoying this new one. It’s no TLF, but it’s certainly better than the last one.

#25

Self-indulgent knob-twiddling without getting anywhere. Very dull.

#26

Been there buddy

#27

Patty Griffin for me.

#28

I absolutely loved his album from last year, so will I be into this one?

#29

Just diving into Billy Basinski - first track is rather omninous sounding…

Ambient, for those who don’t know him. A luminary of the genre.

#30

I don’t know if Townes was a hummus type of guy tbf

#31

Basinski
Evan Caminiti
Celer
Nothing
Lou Barlow

#32

He’s post hummus. Gone way beyond any kind of legume based dip.

#33

Dave - Psychodrama

Only on my second listen but struggling to think of a better UK rap album in the last ten years

#34

This is really good :+1:

#35

Enjoying the new Foals record a lot so far, have struggled to get into them before to be honest but might give their other stuff another go. Exits is still dull though and has no right to be 6 minutes long

#36

Never heard of Sasami but really loving it.

#37

Couple of IWD compilations, proceeds to charities:

#38

#39

QUITE A NOTABLE ABSENCE OF ONE OF HIS PREVIOUS BANDS HERE

#40

Yeah, same here with Westkust. Read the Pitchfork review and saw it as a new release on Google Play. Good album.
