Inevitable but harsh. He’s been given the skeleton of a squad that got relegated two years ago so it’s no surprise Hull are at the bottom of the table. Early word is that Gary Rowett will replace him, which I’d be fairly happy with. God knows why any manager would take the job though.

This was the highlight of a very cold miserable evening. This week is the 30th anniversary of my first ever Palace game when we beat Forest in the FA Cup in 1987.

I’ve had a season ticket pretty much every year apart from when I was away for University. I actually booed the team off at half time, first time I’ve ever done that. I’m turning into a Norwich fan.

Yep…I booed too.

Given the shite we put up with in 2016, it felt harsh to do so on Big Sam’s first game.

It’s looking bleak for us, but i’m hoping this is the low point and we’ll turn it around.
