Nah. Compare it to how people went on for years after, say, Tony Yeboah just wellied it from miles out…

Nowhere near as much skill as a Messi-esque run and finish though, or even the usual Arsenal 20 pass move ending in a goal kick.

 i like this one actually

Just watched a video of the Giroud goal and had to explain to Wor Lass that it wasn’t the guy from First Dates who scored…

Haven’t seen mention of the fact that Giroud backheels a pass in the build up to the goal, two consecutive backheels with the 2nd ending up in the net iz mad skilllllzzz.

Certainly better than some lad falling over and the ball deflecting off his heel.

Just want to remind everyone that the thing Mkhitaryan did last week was in fact from an offside position and therefore not a goal, no need to compare its quality to actual goals.

Wenger’s coat is really terrible. Why can’t he wear a normal coat?

lawro’s shirt

There’s more!

Just to remind people that Burnley are 20/1 today and 4/1 to get any sort of positive result. Sure, they’re pretty ropey away (one point and two goals), and City tend to see off the bottom half sides at home and only stain their pants against the top six there, but they have drew with Boro, Everton and Southampton at home, aren’t really scoring, have a dodgy defence and look like they’ve collectively been on the pies and Christmas pud. In the very least it’s worth chancing a tenner on the latter.

I’d definitely say Burnley have a greater chance of beating Man City away from home than West Ham do beating Man Utd at home, wouldn’t you?

After this game Leicester lose Slimani and Mahrez to AFCON… gonna be a horrible month for them coming up.

Dont think Mahrez has done anything this season for him to be a loss tbh

What a charming man

Pep’s gone full van Gaal already. Course…logic dictates a top six side should win a fixture like that, at home especially, but we know it doesn’t always work like that, especially at this time of year, and we’ve been awful at home. Maybe Silva needed an afternoon off, but Aguero’s had his slippers on for four weeks. The man’s more naive than Pellegrini. I literally can’t believe he’s won the European Cup.
