I’d get a tiger loaf and a block of (grass fed, obvs) butter and demolish the lot.

Realised it’s 8 weeks til Christmas and if I don’t do something (anything!) between now and then I’ll end up having another stone to lose on top of what I already need to shift. So it’s low carb hell for a while. I may check in here weekly if I may? I do better with accountability but nobody around me seems to be dieting and MrB and I just sabotage each other :smile: probably the worst time of year to be trying to avoid sugar! Currently sat in the cinema with my kids with no massive bag of chocolate for probably the first time in my life :neutral_face:

i go to the gym at my workplace. it’s about Ā£10 a month cheaper than the next nearest gyms, but it means that sometimes i have to get changed in front of people i know from work.

  • get over it, who cares if several of your work contacts have seen you in your bra?
  • pay more and go to a different gym

That’s a very restrained carb blowout! I’ve just had pizza and chips. Going to spend some time tomorrow trying to work out some better food for us to eat. I used to live off fish and lean meat and my body likes these more than stodgy carbs (although my face likes the carbs). I don’t do the cooking so I’m either going to have to prepare my own (non vg) meal each night or persuade my bf that we need to lay off the lard a bit. Green roasting tin- everyone on here loves that, I might give it a whirl!

I’ve got to admit, I was quite amazed at the wonders keto did for my digestive system. No bloating or pain I normally associate with gluten, almost zero farting, incredible hunger/craving control. It’s just a shame it’s not more sustainable for me.

I’ve not done keto (i don’t think, i eat about 100-150g of carbs per day), but i’ve definitely found myself like, less generally hungry on a low carb diet.
