Got stuff in for an easy tea, got a bottle of Pol Roger for midnight. Other than that struggling to be arsed.
Do have an amazing looking 2 kilo shortrib in to slowcook on new years day though.
we enjoyed our solo xmas day so are going to recreate some of it - but the table in the lounge and dress it up nicely, make a nice meal, drink from mid afternoon…try and stay awake til new year

Saw this online at one of the last virtual dates (when he was in Manchester). Really enjoyed it - much like most of his stuff really. Properly funny, properly raw and human. He’s the best.

We’re hoping to get our traditional chinese takeaway but everything shuts at 8pm in Northern Ireland due to covid regs, our kids go to bed at 7-7.30 and the restaurant is the best in the area and always rammed on NYE when things are normal. Going to give them a ring tonight to see if we can book a delivery early.

did a solo home NYE last year and it was miserable. probably tempered a bit this year given there’s no FOMO, but never wanted a huge party and a bit of drugs more than now

I have somehow been roped into cooking a full roast turkey dinner (for 2, don’t worry)
so will start on that at about 2 or 3, eat at about 7 and be asleep at about 10:30
