I’m surprised this book is as popular as it is, not awful but a bit meh
this is underrated imho
Oh yeah! Fixed it.
Made living on a shoestring sound really glamorous.
Just a really talented writer isn’t she? I know it’s not a surprise as such and she’s been around giants of literature for time, but it knocks most people for whom books are their bread and butter out of the park.
That’s a good little luncheon and baseball mixed metaphor for you literary fans^
my takes on the ones I’ve read that nobody asked for
Yeah this fucks, good pickin
Very good… But kinda feels like a token pick
Don’t remember much about it
Extremely hit and miss for me. Sometimes loved it, sometimes found it a battle to get through
You again!
I like this a lot, but is it top 100???
Total banger
lol. lmao
Read Manual for Cleaning Women imho it’s a complete all timer.
I’ll put it on the list but I can’t promise you anything. Not gonna get through my to-read list in this lifetime unless I win the lottery and retire.
PCBE
Added it to my to-read list
I enjoyed this one a lot
“Now I need to tell you about this thing that happened, but before I do that I actually need to go back and tell you about this other thing that happened before that”
Every chapter for the entire fucking book. That’s my memory of it.
Oh poops I totally missed this was on here. This is my favourite book of all time.
Fair, I didn’t mind that though
Added to to-read
Have read The Road and Cloud Atlas, have bought, started but not finished about a dozen more of them
Bleak but enjoyable
Meh
Didn’t do much for me, same as the TV series
Actually I skimmed through the back half of Cloud Atlas to get back to the bit about the bisexual composer
