Didn’t the Raiders cut EJ Manuel to make room for McCarron? Manuel had a good preseason, the Bills should take him back.
I don’t think the Lynch pick up, once free of rookie contract, is so bad. His confidence is shot apparently, could be a good (and cheap) reclamation project, and he probably needs more mental coaching than reps, so shouldn’t impact on Allen’s development too much.

Most of the ones i’ve tried seem a bit complicated for a n00b, are hosted by hyperactive Americans and/or sound like they’re recorded in a toilet.
Around the NFL is the best one, and although not aimed at the beginner I don’t think it would take you too long to pick up on what they’re talking about.
Not sure you’ll find a podcast that’s really aimed at beginners… how do keep that tone consistently? You’d have to assume your audience never developed and learnt anything.
Also, all of the regulars are knowledgeable, funny, self-deprecating and play off against each other wonderfully.
Not a podcast kind of person at all, but I love this.

another vote for Around The NFL - it’s been absolutely instrumental to my love of the sport growing over the last few years. my favourite podcast of any genre.
Have you heard any more about them doing meet-ups / events this week? Am planning to go along on Saturday to the fanzone shit, would be good if they’re out on the Friday / Saturday or something.
