NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Vikings beat Buccaneers
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Bills beat Bengals
SUPERBOWL: Bills beat Vikings

MVP: Joe Burrow
OPOY: Ja’Marr Chase
DPOY: Will Anderson
OROY: Travis Hunter (Think he’ll be a good wr and the 2-way stuff will win it for him)
DROY: Abdul Carter
COACH OF THE YEAR: Liam Coen
COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Christian McCaffrey

SURPRISE PACKAGES: Jaguars to be decent (best of a bad division). Won’t be playoffs good but I think the Jets will win 8-9 games
SUPRISE STRUGGLERS: Lions will really miss the two co-ordinators, just about still a playoff team but not as good. Steelers to have a losing season and Tomlin to leave
WORST RECORD: Browns
GENERAL BIG SHOUTS: Caleb Williams to be the best year 2 quarterback, Dallas to not be that horrible

Bills bt Bengals in a low-scoring ā€œsomeone’s 0 gotta goā€ Superbowl. Hotdogs sold - 19,571.

highly unlikely given they’re in the same conference. But it is a funny old game where stranger things have happened

MVP: Josh Allen
OPOY: Jahmyr Gibbs
DPOY: Will Anderson
OROY: Can Ward
DROY: Abdul Carter
COACH OF THE YEAR: Jonathan Gannon
COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Aidan Hutchinson

SURPRISE PACKAGES: Falcons are frisky with a better than expected Penix. Raiders are strong but narrowly miss playoffs. Arizona takes advantage of Rams and Niners injuries to take the division.
SUPRISE STRUGGLERS: Colts are dogshit and battle for first pick. Chargers have lots of things go wrong. Vikings realise they backed the wrong horse in McCarthy.
WORST RECORD: Saints
GENERAL BIG SHOUTS A year of unusual parity, with no dominant records but also no one sniffing 0-17. Lots of disruptive injuries. All the usual powerhouses look good but flawed. Arch Manning stays in college and everyone cries.

NFC NORTH: Lions
NFC EAST: Eagles

NFC WILDCARDS: Packers, Cardinals, Commanders

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Lions over Packers
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Bills over Chiefs (finally)
SUPERBOWL: Bills over Lions

MVP: Josh Allen
OPOY: Ja’Marr Chase
DPOY: Aidan Hutchinson (we so back!)
OROY: Ashton Jeanty (if he stays healthy he’s getting about 20,000 carries this year)
DROY: Abdul Carter
COACH OF THE YEAR: Mike Vrabel
COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR: it’ll be McCaffrey if he stays healthy

SURPRISE PACKAGES: Patriots and Raiders to be massively improved but not quite make the playoffs. The Bears will be really fun but struggle to break .500
SUPRISE STRUGGLERS: Vikings, Seahawks, Rams (I’ve seen a bad back season from Stafford and it’s :face_with_peeking_eye: every snap)
WORST RECORD: Browns (Colts and Saints are probably worse teams but their divisions are absolute :toilet: so will probably sneak 4-5 wins each)
GENERAL BIG SHOUTS: Nobody to go over 12 wins, most divisions going down to the final two weeks. Rodgers done by Thanksgiving and hopefully out of the public eye forever more. Actual shoots of hope for the Jets under Aaron Glenn, even if they don’t win many games. I want to predict this being the year the Chiefs really fall off but can’t make myself believe it quite yet.

AFC NORTH: Ravens

AFC SOUTH: Texans
AFC WEST: Chiefs
AFC WILDCARDS: Bengals, Chargers, Broncos
NFC NORTH: Lions
NFC EAST: Eagles
NFC SOUTH: Bucs

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Packers over Eagles
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Ravens over Chiefs
SUPERBOWL: Ravens over Packers

MVP: Lamar Jackson
OPOY: Puka Nacua
DPOY: Micah Parsons
OROY: Ashton Jeanty
DROY: Abdul Carter
COACH OF THE YEAR: Matt LeFleur
COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Aidan Hutchinson

SURPRISE PACKAGES: The Giants have quietly built an impossibly stacked defensive line and if they can get their shit together at QB (Edna Krabappel ā€œhahā€) I think they could hang around in the wildcard picture for a large part of the season. The Panthers also have the combination of good vibes and an easy schedule which will carry them as long as Young’s play remains serviceable.

SUPRISE STRUGGLERS: Not even sure it would be a surprise at this stage given they gutted their roster to pay Purdy then all their receivers got hurt but it could be a long year for the 49ers.

WORST RECORD: The Saints probably have the worst roster overall but there’s enough dross on their schedule to cobble together a few wins, whereas the Browns somehow look worse than they did last year (cue them beating the Bengals on Sunday). Lucky Arch.

GENERAL BIG SHOUTS: Mike McDaniels won’t last the year in Miami and will probably gone by about November (fired on the way home from Madrid seems entirely possible). All the signs point to it being Tomlin’s last year in Pittsburgh too. There’s also a bracket of four QBs on their second contract who aren’t really achieving much (Herbert, Lawrence, Murray and Tua) and I reckon one team will decide to move on, which will likely turn out to be a mistake.

Could probably chuck the NFL Survivor thing in here if we’re doing it? Iirc @joe made a decent spreadsheet for it last year.

SURPRISE PACKAGES: Dolphins won’t be the car crash everyone seems to think
SURPRISE STRUGGLERS: Rams, said this before and been wrong but I just can’t see Stafford playing enough games to keep them afloat. Lions to regress on offense and miss the playoffs. Also Steelers, don’t see that being a recipe for success over there.
WORST RECORD: Browns. Always the Browns.

SURPRISE PACKAGES: Sam Darnold to somehow take the Seahawks to the playoffs. Raiders, Jaguars, Patriots and Panthers to flirt with .500 before shitting the bed; Jaguars to be the most entertaining of that bunch.
SURPRISE STRUGGLERS: Dolphins to prop up the AFC East.
WORST RECORD: Colts and Browns to 2-15 it.
GENERAL BIG SHOUTS: Tua and Lawrence’s last years in starting jobs. Arch Manning falls off a (metaphorical) cliff. McCarthy starts hot for Minnesota in the first month before getting sacked into the Earth’s core repeatedly. Rodgers gets Tomlin fired. More than one kicker get votes for OPOY.

Still figuring out how to make the sheet work but for now just going to tag everyone who played last year.
