Best NFL rule change in recent memory was moving the extra point attempt back.

he’s not a heavy runner like Cam. Not punching it on 3rd and inches or anything daft. He’s an absolute unicorn and could transcend the game, as Bugduv suggests

yeah, hopefully. more of a russell wilson type dual threat qb i guess?

He runs in a different way to Cam who is far more of a charge it up the middle cos I’m fucking massive kind of runner. Rules are different these days too compared to only five years ago, cam has taken outrageous hits over the years.

Might need to score and onside kick every possession from here on out

I dunno Russ is like a typical dual threat QB with a great arm and incredible pocket awareness and ability to scramble and make good yards. Mahomes could stay in the pocket for the rest of his career and be probably the best passing QB in the game because he has an absolute cannon. But then his ability to scramble and rush just makes him impossible to defend against.

From 2nd quarter, 10 minutes left, the Chiefs have scored 2.3 points per minute.

Yeah Jackson is the one of the 3 I’d worry about ending up with a short career because of a) how much he runs and b) how comparatively small he is. Watson and Mahomes are passing quarterbacks who are very mobile when they need to be. Lamar Jackson is a Mike Vick/Steve Young type

like he just roasted JJ Watt on the outside earlier through sheer speed, which is just amazing to see (although Watt looks gassed)

Yeah, even if he doesn’t get hurt, Lamar will almost certainly wear down physically because he runs as much as a running back, and they usually only have a peak of 4-5 years. I think he’s got the talent to transition to a more traditional kind of QB though.

This is going to somehow be a chiefs blowout

The sad thing is B’OB isn’t even getting fired in the morning

I’m not sure how much any of these guys can transcend the sport, as awesome as they are. still feels like the length of the games and the complexity limits the sport’s accessibility.

Enf of the third quarter you reckon, harsh

I wish

41 unanswered points (with potential for more) has to be some sort of record.

Just looked, in 1940 the Bears beat the Skins 73-0.

Have they had to changed that AT&T advert to say “the islands” rather than “the Caymans” for the tax dodger?
