A neat double of filling a position of need since they got rid of Kelechi Osemele and drumming up a bit more interest in Hard Knocks prior to their move. Only real surprise is that Washington haven’t signed him already.

Really good read

NFL London question… normally I’ve got single tickets, but this year thinking about getting seasons tickets for the Spurs games. I’ve got one friend who wants to do the Bears game, and one for the Panthers… is that ok to use the tickets like that (I’ll be the account holder and go to both)?

The FAQ on the website isn’t very clear about if you need to be named on the season ticket

I have a friend who has a season ticket who buys like 5 for every game and brings different people to each one. As long as you’re there it’s fine - probably don’t even need to be there from what I remember, it’s just standard paper tickets iirc.

awesome, that’s what I wanted to hear! thanks

whoop - got spurs season tickets!

Ah damn, you’re lucky. I’m still waiting in a queue since 10am. They’re gonna probably be all gone by the time I can get to select anything

Just got through and all season ticket price structures are all sold out. Brilliant. Hopefully, they’ve kept enough back for single game tickets for the Panthers game

I’ve been to 4 NFL London games and never had too much trouble getting a single game ticket for any of them. Think I had to go one price tier over what I’d wanted for the Jags vs Colts game a few years ago but that’s about it.

Will hopefully get to one of the Spurs stadium games - would much rather Bears vs Raiders over Panthers vs Bucs.

I think Bears vs Raiders will be really popular, but also it’s a later time compared to Buccs vs Panthers. Single tickets should be ok, but we tried for season tickets just to be sure.

Yeah, I’ve been to several of the games and have always been OK getting single tickets, but last year was the first year that I failed and with the new ground, I wondered how the NFL were doing it with season tickets. I really wanted to go to both and thought season tickets were the best way to go. That queuing system they have is a bit of a pain really. It’s just a lottery

There’s a bunch of us hoping to go to Bears Raiders, so a wee bit nervous - smaller stadium that also has novelty factor, and both teams with big support over here. One of my friends who’s hoping to go has parents with spurs season tickets, so hopefully we can wiggle in one way or another.

Yeah, I was thinking the same as you. Did you get onto the queue before 10am? Just wondering how the system works

I wasn’t factoring in the reduced capacity - will have to make sure i’m online when tickets go on sale! Fancy Spurs over Wembley for both the novelty factor and the fact I live in Finsbury Park so it’s much easier to get home from…

yeah i did but i refreshed which seemed to reset things, but then randomly (when the loading circle hadn’t changed) it just let me in. didn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason, my friend was trying for us too and he didn’t have any movement at all.

So that’s us up there with the Jets

There was no particular incident that brought upon Gaine’s dismissal, Rapoport reported. Instead, the Texans did an evaluation of their football operations and the final findings were that Gaine was, “good, but not good enough,” Rapoport said.

What could possibly go wrong?

This makes a lot of sense (the only wrinkle would be that it might have made more sense next year when they actually move city). Should be entertaining though…
