๐Ÿˆ NFl Week 15 ๐Ÿˆ - The Raiders' Last Stand?

Welcome to Week 15 in the NFL. Weโ€™re firmly into playoff-clinching season now. Plus we now have Saturday games to enjoy too!

But before that can the Chargers put their division rivals Las Vegas Raidersโ€™ playoff hopes to bed on Thursday Night Football? Or will Derek and the defense that falls like dominoes limp on for another week into Miami for a loser-goes-home matchup?

Thursday Dec. 17

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas (1.20am Friday)

Saturday, Dec. 19

Buffalo at Denver, 9:30 p.m.

Carolina at Green Bay, 1:15 a.m (Sunday)

Sunday, Dec. 20

Tampa Bay at Atlanta, 6 p.m.

Jacksonville at Baltimore, 6 p.m.

San Francisco at Dallas, 6 p.m.

Houston at Indianapolis, 6 p.m.

New England at Miami, 6 p.m.

Chicago at Minnesota, 6 p.m.

Detroit at Tennessee, 6 p.m.

Seattle at Washington, 6 p.m.

Philadelphia at Arizona, 9:05 p.m.

New York Jets at Los Angeles Rams, 9:05 p.m.

Kansas City at New Orleans, 9:25 p.m.

Monday Night Footbal Dec. 21

In other news, the league owners havenโ€™t formally approved a 17th week of regular season games for next season, but they have approved the formula for determining those games whenever they inevitably get approved

Seeing as Black Monday is but two weeks away, whoโ€™s getting canned?

Lay it on us.

The winner of this weekends bears - vikings game will make the playoffs

I thought you said last week that the Vikings had as much chance as the Bears of making he playoffs, which was zero? Edit: whatโ€™s changed your mind?

(Iโ€™d fancy the Vikingsโ€™ chances of pulling off an upset playoff win over the Cardinals so would rather they got through)

For the Bears to make the playoffs theyโ€™d need to hope the Packers secure a first-round bye before week 17 and play the kids. For that to happen the Saints would need to lose to the Chiefs (which I fully expect them to do) andโ€ฆthe Vikings, who may give them less of a game if they lose to the Bears this weekend. In summaryโ€ฆdonโ€™t know.

Dunno. Got a feeling the eagles are going to do the cardinals, then the cards have the 49ers who are looking better, and the rams who are good.

If they go 1-2 in those 3 games they end up 8-8. Which means the winner of bears vikings only needs one other win to tie. The Vikings play detroit, the bears play jacksonville.

The tie break rules confuse and scare me, Iโ€™d have no idea whoโ€™d get in if 2 teams end up 8-8 but whereโ€™s the fun in that take.

Ah. Apparently the first tie breaker is the divisional seed. Cardinals will finish 3rd in the West so 2nd in the North would take it with the same record. Iโ€™m sticking with my hot take!

Also now Mitchell Trubisky is elite so the bears are unbeatable

Peak Chargers watch No 154;

Anthony Lynn icing his own kicker.

How much you wanna bet he can throw a football over them mountains?

Thatโ€™s what, 75 yards in the air? Maybe more?

Apparently this travelled further but technically isnโ€™t logged as a pass attempt because of the PI flag. Ridiculous off a roll out to his left

I guess we can remove the question mark on that thread title now, am I right?!

Didnโ€™t realise there was a Saturday game, thatโ€™s a nice bonus.

Wish theyโ€™d divvy up the Sunday games a bit more to have fewer at 6pm, but whatever. Might just Redzone it up now the Lions are fully done, especially if Stafford isnโ€™t starting.

Chiefs Saints will be tasty, bet itโ€™s the Sky game so not on Gamepass, pah

Saw a video a year or is ago apparently showing Lamarr Jackson throwing the ball over 100yards in college

donโ€™t think thereโ€™s any footage of it but fairly widely circulated stories of Brett Favre throwing it from one endzone to the other as a party trick during warmups when he was younger

who are the most likeable american football team? I guess what I am asking is, who are the AFC Bournemouth of American football? What are the New York Jets like, they seem rubbish, perennial underachievers that one day might come good, thatโ€™s the vibe Iโ€™m after.
