The Witches scared the shit outta me as a kid, and his other films amazed me later in life - he was a great talent. Just wish he’d done more.
Walkabout too. I remember watching this as a hormonal teen and it had a profound effect on me. Roeg was a true artist who made films the way he wanted to and refused to compromise.
Don’t look now, the man who fell to earth… his best films were as good as anyone’s. What a talent.
