I still have the Heart Monitor one with the little button badge.

I have only been to the ILM once. And then far to late to get anything tasty. I’ve picked up a couple of things afterwards from discogs though.

Fever Ray - Plunge (with red gel “blood” sleeve)

That’s great, I’ve got the 12" of Revolting Cocks “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” that has an oil sleeve like that.

That was weird, as I was typing that Karin turned the right way up and looked straight at me! :astonished:

Haha, had to edit once I realised the photo was on its side

haha, it’s ok - Ecuadorians (?) need some satan too

Aw man, those Arrivals packages take me back! An absolute bugger to make, but all of them came out so well. the two pics, just out of interest, are of a flyover at Lovell Park in Leeds (I used to work at that big horrible HBOS that was up there), and Robert’s Park in Saltaire (grew up just down the road in Baildon, but now ironically, live about a 5 min walk from where I took that photo!)

what was the ‘secret message’ thing on the back of the tracklisting? we put something on each one. I remember a very confused German guy who brought his for us to sign once, and it had something to do with the Arnie film The Running Man on there, and he had no idea what we were on about. Great days…

oops, forgot to tag @LastAstronaut in there too

Been after a similar King Gizzard blood filled vinyl.

Got a few CDs with things I didn’t want to ruin.

Dillinger Escape Plan’s One of Us is the Killer came with a foil cover you could scratch off with a coin, which I did. Beck’s The Information came with a bunch of stickers to create your own cover, which I didn’t.

I always used to buy stuff in cool cases if there was the option, but they’re all a total pain in the arse to store.

Small world! I worked at their Pudsey office for about eight years after two years in Copley.

ah, that’s a reference to her name is calla - sophie (my girlfriend) played with them for a while, and also helped make all these packages too. i bet we were just listening to that song when we typed it out.

ah man, hbos was brutal! i was in e-commerce for a while, and had some of the worst managers I’ve ever worked for there. still, we had a pretty mean 5-a-side team!

Mine just says “gizeh 21” then “typed in leeds” on the back of the tracklist - took me a while to find the “things I didn’t want to sell” box! Means that it’s even more valuable, right?

haha oh yeah!
quite a boring message from us on that one - sorry about that. should’ve done more Arnie themed ones  think GZH21 was the cat number.

Ah of course, I knew I recognised it from somewhere.

It wasn’t too bad at Pudsey, I worked on the mainframe side of a system called CSP that was in the branches. Quite a good bunch there I found.

ah fair enough. where I was, it was basically just a load of temps that got turned into full contract workers (which is what I was) and a bunch of very very keen middle manager types who just schmoozed whatever manager we had that week. was strange, but could be fun sometimes!

I reckon the high (low) point of this type of thing was the Vio-Lence “vomit pack”. I had it at one stage but must have sold it.

no way! I’ve got that, I was given it by someone, I can’t remember whether they knew someone in the band or just wanted rid of it! Mine now is a solid brown thing, it’s disgusting, hiding way at the low end of my record collection! The worst thing is it’s not even very good.

I’ve just ruined that. Sorry.

haha! wow, I didn’t realise we did some long messages - that’s really cool. I remember that dog picture too, it really was immense. someone had drawn him in pencil looking all regal, properly like a royal painting, it was brilliant.
