Can’t remember where it is but I have that version of F#A#∞ that comes with all the postcards and diagrams and the penny that’s been crushed by a train.

Can I really be the first person in this thread to say Hope Of The States Black Dollar Bills single in a hessian bag?

Also have the Kraftwerk live box set that looks and opens like a laptop, and a Man Or Astroman? 7” where you can press out parts of the sleeve to make a model UFO

This is one of my favourite weird record packages

It’s a hand-cast plaster block with a memory card containing the album sealed inside. You’d have to smash the block to get the actual card out, but I’ve obviously not done that.

I don’t own it but always liked the idea of this - very early (pre-Bewilderbeast I think) mechanical music box version of a Badly Drawn Boy single.

Oh god, I love this stuff and have so much of it! I’ll have to dig through some tomorrow, but I have this complete with jigsaw:

Aye but if they’d made it a 12inch instead of 10" it’d have been better (oooo-er!)

I certainly think it’s by far the worst of the three. Hard to store and full of all those little squares of cardboard, although obviously the biodegradable thing is nice.

I just don’t think a 12" version would have been much better. Probably have to skimp on quality a little to fit four tracks a side. Also, they’ve done it this way (4 sides of vinyl for each album) for DJs or something haven’t they?

No idea.
Having it on 12 they could have same quality across 3 sides and throw a bonus track or two on D.
Ah well.
Yeah def the runt of the special edition litter sadly.

Let’s be honest, TKOL would have been better if they’d done a 12-track album including the two double-a sides they released after

Red vinyl Screamadelica. Queued up at Glasgow Mono records on RSD to get it. Then got it signed for our wedding as we know the guitarists (Andrew Innes) sister and she was coming.

Deluxe Murmur signed by Peter Buck. Was on holiday in Seattle and went into an indie record shop that just happened to be his regular haunt. He’d been in the day before and signed it. Apparently…

Pearl Jam cassette single. No means to play it. Both me and the wife (incorrectly) assumed it belonged to the other for the last 15 yrs or so that we had it and that there was some kind of sentimental value attached so didn’t question it. No idea who’s it is.

I had the ‘Black Dollar Bills’ single, however, i sold it for quite a few quid about 10 years ago…i regret that decision.

I love the fact that you have a song that’s specifically about listening to stuff on vinyl on cassette.
