I did consider selling it a while back, but looked and saw that the value had peaked a long time previous, and what I’d get it for now wasn’t worth not having it anymore. Also have a signed Enemies/Friends (with Jimmi’s signature as well ) and the Nehemiah with the heat reactive sleeve.

my guys capac did an album packaged on a small circuit board, inserted into a matchbox, and bundled it with a candle and a few matches, so you can listen to it at night:

I helped a friend track an original one of these down a while ago as they wanted it as a gift for someone. I had the luminous sleeve CD thing but sold it.

I don’t own this yet, but the timing of this thread is very apposite. I snagged one of these preorders this morning. There will be 10 in total. The blurb says…

“Slightly indulgent but something we have been wanting to do for a while. A square 12” wooden box that will contain a black vinyl test pressing of the album, all artwork from the album as a 12" printed booklet, a copy of Dark Habits zine, signed one off original artwork and a few surprise extras plus hand painted lid. We’ll be hand building these so expect a few exciting defects, and they may well come nailed shut, like a real coffin."

Calexico’s Road Atlas boxset - a vinyl collection of their tour albums over the years and accompanying book. In true Calexico style it’s lovely mix of rough sketches, live sets, a film soundtrack and loose odds and ends. A lovely thing.

Tried to find my copy of A Slow Messe by Molasses, but concerningly I cannot find it , and by the same artist there is Trilogie: Toil & Peaceful Life which is an absolute beauty but so many of the details like the embossed tracklist just don’t photograph well.

Got this holographic panoramic version of Babelsberg by Gruff Rhys. Lovely to look at but an absolute pain to store. Currently leaning up against the side of my Ikea Kallax.

It is so pretty, nice textrues to everything too, they definitely made very conscious decisions over all the papers/cards used rather than just going with the standards so it feels nice as well as looks nice.
