Nice soaps and Bath bombs and skin cream and that

Thought there might be a call for this.

I’m about to buy some goats milk soap for my dodgy skin from this place https://www.thelittlegoatsoapcompany.co.uk/

What would you recommend. Also open to recipes for stuff too.

My GP told me to put Head & Shoulders on my face this morning, if that counts

I really don’t get on with most Lush stuff, but I’m gonna order another one of these as it smells really nice and leaves me hair very soft: https://uk.lush.com/products/shampoo/angel-hair

It’s only gone and fucking worked wonders overnight. Six months of discomfort and all I had to do was ignore the instructions on my shampoo bottle and use it on my face ffs.

So my recommendation for nice skin products would be to try Head & Shoulders first.

(don’t do this, I’m not a real doctor)

Good thread idea :+1:

Anyone got any tips for a moisturiser that can have a good go at super dry elbows? !

what was it prescribed for?

O’Keefes Working Hands Cream is good for mine.

Suspected seborrhoic dermatitis. I have eczema but it’s normally very responsive to steroids, but my upper lip/philtrum has been dry, red and itchy for six months. Steroids did nothing, then I thought it might be perioral dermatitis from steroid overuse so stopped using them and it did nothing. Then I got some antibiotic cream and it did… maybe something? Not a lot, anyway.

Then I spoke to a GP who’s interested in dermatology and she suggested anti-dandruff shampoo, and I’m already waaaay more comfortable.

Sake.

I don’t think there are any other DiS-ers with beards so this probably won’t be relevant to anyone’s interests but this shampoo bar is banging and lasts AGES. Mines just coming to the end of its life and I’ve been using it daily for about 10 weeks.
