Fuck knows how but it generally stays cool in summer. I mean this heatwave’s battered through it and we’ve had to get the fan on most days but, in general, it’s not too hot until it hits 28 or so. Also because it’s a small flat when it gets cold in winter generally takes 5 minutes or so to warm up (which is also great for fuel efficiency)

Barn conversion in the middle of nowhere so:

  • massive open plan living space with floor-to-ceiling doors/windows
  • horses out back
  • emus in the next field
  • alpacas
  • very few people
  • very very quiet

The garden backs on to woodland which is lovely, great to sit out there at dusk and watch the bats and listen to the stream.

My bedroom is very big and i have a four-poster bed with fairy lights draped over the top (very nice for atmosphere).

It is right next to a park (and RIGHT next to the community hub building that acts as a polling station). It’s 2 minutes away from a corner shop too, which (having previously been 20 mins away from any shops) is life-changing.

And the bathroom is also massive so we have room for a crosstrainer machine in there. Genuinely no idea what happens to that when i have to move out.

How did the garden reveal go down last night man?

Current house:
Three storeys so everyone has their own floor and a lot of privacy. My room is at the back of the house and east facing so has loads of sunlight in the morning. In a beautiful area with lots of 18th/19th century buildings. Cheapest house I’ve ever lived in (€200 for the month).

Future house:
Very private as it is the corner apartment at the back of a block. Quite warm in winter and cool in the summer. Still quite cheap.

Hah, she loves it but it was a little tainted by her fucking mate being here with her! We had fish and chips under the parasol for dinner though, which was lovely.

Fish and chips while gazing out at the emus, lovely stuff.

Hah, the stables is the view from the garden so we have to make do with lovely horses. And three sheep.

Location - can be on the downs cycling off road in about 10 mins, loads of road riding around too. But takes a few minutes to get into B-town city proper on foot or by bike

Quiet - student area but they don’t really come this far up the hill

Flat is warm in winter and cool in summer

Garden is small but I don;t think I could cope with a big one (oo er).

  • On the edge of town, so decent range of birds, bats and the like going through. Have a resident owl down the road, so get a soft comforting hoot or 2 in the evening.

  • Pretty quiet location, feels out in the country, but is still in town.

  • Really nice place, a little tired, but a large sized property with a decent garden.

  • Close to Table Pizza

  • The Plastics have stayed over.

  • My new bathroom is SO FIT
  • Love my living room. It’s bright and big.
  • I have nice furniture
  • We look out over a coffee shop and a car wash which is always great conversation cause we think it may be a front for some drug thing and the big boss comes around to collect his money in a range rover so we always talk about big boss.
  • Got that Hive thing so I can turn the heating on when i’m on the way home from being out. LOVE THAT.

Really like your house

View from living room window: trees, lots of trees.

Seven good pubs within five minutes’ walk.

It’s in a nice spot, almost no cars, fair amount of trees, one park within about 3 minutes walk, another 3 or so with 10-15 minutes walk, view of a church from my bedroom window.

Loads, I love it.

  • All the rooms are spacious and light.

  • I have a dedicated music room/studio for the first time ever.

  • Really quiet and peaceful.

Location

  • Near some stunning countryside and close to the North Downs way
  • 3 minute drive to the M25, so get away to most places quite quickly
  • Near a train station

House

  • Quiet road with nice neighbours
  • Detached
  • Double Garage which partially acts a drum room (insulated automated garage door)
  • Small garden, but well laid out with a lower courtyard area which is nice for eating out.
  • New kitchen which I designed and love
  • Big lounge

Reading back that sounds very Tory.

Is it a hand car wash? Was reading an article about them - I think a lot of them are pretty dodgy.

Almost all of them are human slavery fronts
