Tremendously happy that A Hat In Time’s coming to Switch. I love those big mid-nineties 3D platformers, and while Yooka Laylee was alright it kept getting unfavourably compared to A Hat In Time. It’s meant to be very good.

Bought a switch the other day (late to the party, classic). Mainly to settle the debate on who is better at Mario kart, me or my wife (i’m quite worried it’s her). Are those little steering wheel things any cop or are they a bit gimmicky?

completely gimmicky, have hardly taken them out at all. the little joy-con grips do the same thing in terms of giving you proper L and R buttons, that’s all you need

The tv doesn’t like FIFA so it would be great to crush some of you noobs rather than the AI (I’m actually not very good)

Fifa 18 on Switch is pretty great but not being able to play friends list folk was crazy and never patched. It’d be great to get a DiS tournament going. Tanking the AI is easy but I frequently get mauled online.
Aye add everyone from the sheet and we’ll see about getting MK on the go again - I think @profk is keen anyway.
If there’s lobby codes for any other games feel free to add the sheet so people can join.
Reckon there’ll be a reasonable amount of people into Smash to do a DiS competition come December.

I’ve just played and completed Gorogoa. There were a few times where I seemed to go around in circles, but I managed to resist searching online and being told how to do it. Really lovely game - sometimes it felt a bit too random, but other times it felt so good when coming up with lightbulb moment of what you need to do. Was definitely worth a purchase whilst on sale.

and I’m definitely going to get the Bad North game which I’ve spotted on the Switch News feed. Looks like another Advanced Wars / Mushroom Wars 2 type game I’ll love. I’ll wait and see if that goes on sale also, as I’ve plenty to tide me along for now.
