What is a support fighter?

some are: Guile from SF2, Bomberman , akira in blocky polygon form, Shovel Knight etc

I fucking LOVE Directs.

Before every single one people go “F-Zero! Animal Crossing! Some other standard IP!” Then Nintendo go “er, yeah, here’s something amazingly hatstand bananas like a cardboard construction set” and people go “oh. Oh. OH! WOOOOOAH”

Deciding to largely not give a fuck about E3 and mostly announcing games when they’re four months away from release has been a revelation.

Me too.

I loved them during the Wii U era too, but they’re decidedly better now they HAVE SOME ACTUAL GAMES IN THEM.

(Also, I hadn’t refreshed my internet since last night so when I saw this thread had 54 new posts, I smiled knowing a Direct must have been announced).
