Part of the reason I got a switch was to minimise conflict over who gets to play on the ps4 with my kids

It felt so good when I got my second win, to stop the feeling of my first win being a fluke! I’m now up to 28 wins (out of 410 games…).

way to piss on my bonfire

Looking forward to playing more, think I’ve definitely got the swing of it now.

Jesus christ 28 wins! M

It’s only more recently (comparatively speaking) that I’ve started to win a bit more often. Although it’s still not that frequent considering how much of a higher level I am than most of the other people I play against. But the points probably just signify that I have played a lot now.
I saw a really shocking Tetris 99 video of someone playing super fast which just looked darn impossible.

There are yeah. I’m one as well. I guess the point I’m trying to make is that you can’t just own one historically and tick both boxes. But if these two firms work together, that could change.

I often wish I could play Forza, Gears of war, Apex legends, Tomb raider etc but I can’t as a non-Xbox owner (I know a couple of these are on PS4, but hey). Likewise I don’t think these next gen consoles have the local multiplayer fun of a Mario Party, Snipperclips, Smash, Mario Kart etc.

So I’m just saying that there isn’t a console that does both of these things well at the moment.

As somebody who has access to pc PS4 and switch, switch is the one I would miss the most. Obviously nearly everything comes to PC but Nintendo 1st party is more consistently fun and delightful to me.

I had a wee session of 99 tonight and barely got past 50

I mean I had literally ten lines of garage being dropped on me not that long into the game.

Basically you’re ll ruining tetris by being a lot better than me and it is making me sad.

Also going to trde in smash for NSMBUD

Sorry I was being flippant ,wasn’t trying to disagree with your point such is a good one !

Just grabbed the original Valkyria Chronicles for 8 quid, which feels like a good price.
Been meaning to play it for years.

I recently had about ten lines of junk appear in my left hand column within five second of starting a game, which I had no idea how it was possible:

Unless they maybe did an All Clear or something? Which is something I haven’t done yet. Or managed to do any of those confusing looking Triple T-Spins.

I find I either get into a rhythm and finish somewhere between 20-50, or I’m in the 90s with no chance to do anything because I’m swamped with attackers from the get go. No inbetween.

That doesn’t look right does it. How could anyone build lines so fast?

what is an all clear?

Ah got ya, just thought I hadn’t made my point very clearly. Who have I’m good at! I’m at that cross section too so any team up between Microsoft and Nintendo is great news for me

Watch this guy if you want to be really depressed:

I just can’t get my head around those T-spins to actually play them in a game. and he does some moves which I didn’t even know where possible!

It’s when you get rid of all of the blocks on the board. I think it sends over ten bits of junk, which is possibly what happened to me in the video above, as I couldn’t see anyone do a Tetris that quickly.

Ahh, makes sense. Thanks

You know when you do the up arrow to get the block straight to the bottom, do you then still have time to rotate it? Because it seems like he’s doing that a few times here
