If you’ve got a four year old definitely get a full fat switch. Makes co op gaming together much easier if you do it together on a big screen

Depends on the game. My nephews managed Mario kart fine at that sort of age

With kids? Mariokart! And Mario Odyssey. Otherwise depends what you like. Lots of very highly rated rpgs if that’s your thing - skyrim, witcher 3, dark souls if you like a challenge. Fire emblem if you like turn based combat.

Decent case and screen protector

Awesome. Thanks!

I’ve got a 6 and 4 year old so coop playing is essential really. It’s just quite a lot of money give we’ve also got a PS4, but seems really good that it’s portable and can be used on planes, on holiday etc

Get the full machine. The lite is for people who want to play alone and in handheld exclusively

Think I don’t want to bother with Fire Emblem and just buy another game instead :man_shrugging:

Yup all the above.

My kids, similar ages to yours mate, also love watching me play Luigi’s Mansion 3, Zelda and they will independently dip into Mario Party and Just Dance on their own. Lego and Minecraft got the odd play but think they find them a bit tricky right now.

Nintendo Labo and Ring Fit Adventure have also been hits, especially the former.

Same.
Luigi mansion 3 is great and quite short. 100%ed it in 20 hours.

I’m still umm’ing and ahh’ing about getting FE and Witcher 3 whilst they’re on sale, but feel that I may just get overwhelmed by the length of them.
… So I’ve just gone back to alternating between Wargroove and Slay The Spire instead whilst I decide whether to buy the other games before the sale ends.

Feel like I should have gone for Wargroove to scratch the turn-based itch. Just don’t like anything about FE so far

Tsk to think you could be someone who doesn’t want tactical warfare and tea in the same game

Very close to buying The Witcher 3. Still on Slay the Spire (stuck at A4 with ironclad and A3 with silent though, not made much progress in a while now). A massive open world might be nice to go alongside it but feels like such a commitment. I’ll probably get it physical in case it’s not for me and I want to get rid.

I’m half thinking about buying it physically for that same reason. Even though I’ve never actually sold any of my games before!

Me: ‘Its fine Switch games are so expensive they hold their resale value’

Also me: Never sells my games

Is anyone interested in a Ring Fit on here? Me and my partner have joined the gym, so exercise is moving there so not using it so much. I know peeps were looking for one on here before. We’ve used it maybe 6 or 7 times. I was thinking £45 to deliver.

Gimme a pm if you are interested!

I am! Very much so. I can’t PM you - clicking your profile says it is hidden. PM me back instead?

Playing through super Mario Bros U Deluxe and having a blast. Was so so easy for the first couple of worlds and now suddenly it isn’t. The ghost houses are confuuusssiiinnggg

I thought it was okay, enough fun, but it lacked “Mario magic”. Much preferred tropical freeze.

I had a lot of fun with it too. Underrated game that.
