I would settle for HD versions of Kid Icarus uprising and the original chibi Robo for sure :pray:

Isn’t @xylo obsessed with this

Fair fucks to him if he is. The first Curse of the moon is the best Castlevania in decades.

It’s a great game and this 8 bit remake sequel looks really fun

Haven’t picked up the main game as I heard there were a lot of issues with the switch version. Curse of the moon is brilliant though.

Its insanely fucking hard. Only beaten the first level without basically cheating.

Would love if they remastered Sin + Punishment and the sequel for Switch

I felt like it was less a game like DS or Bayonetta where you have to learn move sets and patterns but react in the moment to deal with it and think on your feet, and rather an exercise in remembering which pixel you need to be positioned on at certain points and memorising phases of attacks.

Could be wrong, but I felt there was room to screw up in those other games and still do well. Here it’s more ‘memorise it all through repetition or quit’.

But I keep meaning to go back and try it again.

Sin & Punishment 2 is such a criminally overlooked game. Bloody incredible thrill ride.

I always look at top level Cuphead, D*** Souls, Zelda etc players and feel like ‘I reckon I could be that good if I bothered’.

I look at Ikaruga players and go ‘No way man, you are off the charts!’ The skill required to get top ranks on that is simply beyond me I feel. It’s a thing of beauty watching someone beat it with a high rank. Really hypnotic.

Hey @epimer how is brigandine legend of whatever? Looked cooler than I expected from a video I saw

There’s a demo. It’s… fine. Doesn’t feel like a 2020 video game, feels like a PS2 game. I could see me putting hours into it if I was in the right mood, but I’ll be waiting for a heavy discount.

thanks, guess I can always just play Shining Force 2 again

Fuck that game good lord it makes me feel very pathetic and puny

Really want to go back to it (think I’d done about 7 or 8 bosses) but have so much to play and knowing that I was bashing my head against a wall is not very enticing. Amazing to look at though. As a Souls fan I would’ve thought it would appeal though (did we already have this chat? In fact, did I talk you into buying it?)

You did talk me into it!

I think it’s cos it’s just relentlessly bosses with no preamble to take the edge off, is why I’m struggling

Tree House time

I am now online :sunglasses:

What do I need to do to lose to some of you chumps at Mario Kart? Up for something tomorrow night if anyone wants.

Also thinking of getting a picross game, though maybe I should wait for them to be on sale again…
