I was wondering the same thing about Skyrim. Is it enjoyable in little chunks?

Yeah as it’s split up into quests. Any game thats split up into quests can be enjoyed in small chunks as it provides a natural end point and presents achievable micro goals

Might be worth having an extended session at first though so you can remember the controls/systems

It can be yeah. Always admin with games like this though. Sifting through inventory, what do I keep what do I sell, upgrading shit… sometimes I felt like I achieved very little in my chunk of time.

Seem to be able to save wherever you want, so I can’t see a problem with little sessions.

Only just started it but already resisting the temptation to pick everything up! Too many random objects! Does it slow you down or is it what you equip that does that? Or have I just been playing too much Dark Souls?!

Hah yeah, you can pick up pretty much everything. You do learn to be selective (never pick up food, waste of time). Everything you take has a weight and you’ve got a carry limit… go above that and you become encumbered (can’t run and no fast travel). You can increase your carry limit with armour and levelling up (I think). Pretty sure you can store items in any chest and they’ll remain there indefinitely… more hassle than it’s worth though. The first couple of hours are slow but stick with it!

Could not fathom playing Skyrim in 2020 without being heavily modded

Why even bother clearing the backlog when Breath of the Wild exists and is better than everything else

I think I am almost done with Paper Mario so will be looking to sell it on I think. Wanted to offer it on here and see if anyone fancied it. Looking to sell for £28 including postage. Lemme know if you fancy it!

I can’t seem to PM you but I’ll take it!

I keep thinking I have changed these settings to let me get PMs haha, I’ll message you now!

I see Sega have got a sale on… tempted by Outrun for £4, it’s meant to be a classic but was before my time, can anyone vouch for it?

They Megadrive classics collection is also half price so £15, think I’d only want to play Streets of Rage and Goldenaxe though, and even then it wouldn’t be the same playing it on my tod when my fond memories are of doing it with my mates.

I’ve played a little bit of Outrun years and years ago, maybe in the arcade or megadrive, can’t remember. Slightly tempted too, but not sure if I’d play it much.

I recommend Virtua Racing if you haven’t bought/played that. Not sure what it’s like for someone who hasn’t played it originally, but it looks nice and crisp, and I had a great time with it.

I’m very tempted by Virtua Racing - had it on the Mega Drive and really liked it although iirc I could never win anything other than the beginner race. £4.01 is pretty reasonable looking…

Sounds like you need to fix that.

I was going to say that but I forgot - generally find Mega Drive games a lot harder now than I did at the time so I wouldn’t hold my breath

It is still pretty tough (if you want to try and come first - or seometimes even just finish the track), but it’s a bargain at £4.01!

I’m a bit tempted by Valkyria Chronicles 4, as it’s 62% off and I enjoyed the first game. Although I sort of felt like I had my fill of it from the first game, so maybe not of its just more of the same.

Is Hand of Fate 2 any good? Looks fairly entertaining from the trailer

Good price for that I’d say.

I got it for £23 and I’ve not had my fill really. Quick blast on the first 2 Sonic games, full playthrough of SOR2 and fleeting goes on Comic Zone, SOR1&3. Not much else grabs me…

this one is pretty but tough as balls
