It’s probably the only game on the whole collection, other than maybe SOR2, where as I played it I thought ‘this could have come out this year’.

It’s so clever, good to control and imaginative. Never seem another game like it.

But yup! Could only get a few panels into the game before dying!

If ‘Beyond Oasis/Story Of Thor’ is on it then I’d recommend it. Zelda lite that’s still loads of fun. One of the best soundtracks on the Mega Drive too.

Quite tempted to pick up a physical version of the Bioshock collection. Dunno how well it will look/play on my switch lite but had fond memories of playing the first game back in the day.

I’ve got it and looks/plays great! I only play handheld (although on a Switch Heavy) and had no issues. Going to start the second one soon I think. It’s just too hot for video games at the moment.

That sounds good to me. I’ve never played 2 and infitine before. If I remember correctly the first has a decent amount of playtime? Think I’ll have to go physical in order to save storage space.

The first one took me 15 hours according to Switch playtime. But I probably completed it 4-5 times on the 360. The other two I’ve only ever played once so they’ll be much less familiar. Remember really liking the second one.

Physical is going for 32 quid at Curry’s I think. Absolute bargain. Compared with Capcom charging £30 for not even remastered versions of their games anyway.

Bear in mind that they’ve been well sneaky and only the first one is on the cartridge. Two and three have to be downloaded to your console. This nonsense put me off purchasing.

Wow, that’s bullshit

BOTW is amazing isnt it. Think i’m enjoying my second play through more because i’m finding more elegant ways to do things I just bodged my way through the first time. Doing more side quests as I go and am less bothered about the main story and just taking it easy.

Agreed. Borderlands collection is the same, and LA Noire doesn’t run at all without downloading some data first.

Incidentally @GuyIncognito if you do want to buy Bioshock it’s slightly cheaper here:

Best. Game. Ever.

Yes! This is exactly how I’m doing the second playthrough at the moment. Really did just plough through the story last time, so actively avoiding and just having a nice time

God damn it. Isn’t Infinite like 20gb? Don’t think I have enough room for that. Thanks for the heads up.

Conversely I’m on my first play through and have not done much of the story at all. Only just freed my second divine beast at about 60hours through.

Have also just started a second BotW playthrough. The opening is just magic isn’t it?

Still have some muscle memory from first playthrough too so pleased to not be having my arse handed to me. One stamina wheel is killing me though.

I remember everyone saying how open BOTW was but I remember feeling that the story really did hold your hand to begin with (which was fine by me) - the shrines on the plateau, then off to see Impa, via the first stable where you learn about horses, and past the Korok dude so you learn about seeds, then Impa teaches you about memories and sends you off the Hateno to learn about ancient stuff and your scanner and what have you… I guess after that it loosens up (I imagine the idea was that you head up Mt Laranyu and wind up coming across Zora’s domain), but I think you have to consciously avoid all that if you really want to just explore.

I’m sure I will replay it one day, I loved being in that world, but can’t imagine what I’d really get up to on a second play through at the moment, think it would just feel repetitive at the moment.

After the plateau I ended up in that maze in the desert and didn’t get to Impa for ages.

I think I’m just a natural rules follower who craves structure so when the quest log said go find Impa that’s what I did. We can’t all be mavericks.

I don’t think I looked at that (at that stage).

I think I may live in the middle ground between you and Justin Shields.

But the king says it when he reveals himself and you get the glider!
