These fix the biggest problem IMHO by having hefty shoulder buttons and proper analog sticks

I looked at these but they add so much bulk and tbh are not as fun as my neon red/blues. But maybe I’ll go for it to get the most out of the games above. Metro Redux also out soon?! Suddenly got a load of FPS.

Didn’t Bam or someone get a set of these?

Bam did

The Satisfye one is supposed to be superb.

The start to Fire Emblem is pretty guff

Stick with it!

It feels wrong to let a sale go by without buying anything, so I’ve just bought Iconoclasts now.

Defo stick with it, the game takes a while to learn the different systems but once it clicks. Also the story takes a bit of time to get up and running.

Yeah, definitely will do. One of my ATDs warned me of the slow start before I bought it. Think once I get into the thick of the gameplay it’ll come good.

I’ve never played a witcher game as I am just a Nintendo player. Is it comparable to botw? I’ve just started botw and got over my initial doubts and really enjoying it, especially finding stuff and making potions and recipes and stuff. Spending time just exploring the massive world.

Yes and no.

Yes in the sense its a massive world that feels alive and you have gear to upgrade etc etc but other than that not really. Its far more ‘adult’ ‘cinematic’ and ‘narrative’ driven. Its focused on quests and holds a natural RPG progression where as Breath of The Wild is a lot more ‘Go nuts and kill gannon’ and thats all the direction you get.

The Witcher is focused on delivering exceptional direction and voice acting where as Breath Of The Wild is purely gameplay and wonder foucsed. Both fantastic games that do two different things very well and are both games with MASSIVE scope and craft.

They’re both good for exploring, reward exploration, in different ways. For example in The Witcher 3 you could help someone in distress just by hearing cries of help in the forest which could lead into a lore rich side story.

I say go for it, there is an easy mode (which isn’t BORING) if you find the systems overwhelming.

Once I finish zelda I’ll give it a go. I like rpgs so it sounds like it’s up my street.

The writing, voice acting and direction goes far beyond any other big budget RPG I can think of. I’m currently replaying it on PC and still LOVE how well done all the dialogue is.

Getting properly into Ni No Kuni now.
About 15 hours of playtimes and have just finished the first ‘arc’ after getting the ship.
Good game/10

They’re both great I think, for very different reasons. I didn’t bother with a lot of potions, magic, etc in Witcher 3 and just brute forced my way through upgrading armour and attack power. But it has more complex systems if you prefer.
