From what I heard the other day, relations between Rashid and Yorkshire are… not good, and haven’t been for a while. Some suggestion that if he played for almost any other county, the situation wouldn’t have gotten to this point.

All a bit whispery though.

Wouldn’t be Yorkshire if they weren’t falling out with their players. Willey, Plunkett and Rashid this year just off the top of my head. I do actually feel a bit sorry for Yorkshire on all three counts - Willey ditched them for the IPL at the last second, Plunkett had been playing for England and expected to walk back into a very strong Yorkshire bowling attack, and Rashid’s situation as noted upthread. Plus they lose players to England left right and centre.

Right guys here we go

Will Joe Root pass 50 but fail to score a ton?

But then they have bellends like Ryan Sidebottom (not the glorious Warwickshire stallion, the knock off one who played for England) gobbing off about Rashid and it being approved by the coaching staff. The best and richest (in terms of cricket culture and quality) county in the country by a mile, but my goodness do Yorkshire CC love some pig headed inter team clashes.

Yeah speaking of bellends in cricket Ryan Sidebottom is up there ain’t he. Never heard anyone have anything close to a good word to say about him.

Still does my nut in to this day that there are 2 Ryan Sidebottoms who both play cricket and are both bowlers. Remarkable stuff.

Got 9/2 on Root and Kohli 50s first innings

Now that is good, solid gambling.

Right Root’s into the 70s now so dangerous territory

India very foolish to let Root and Bairstow bat together on Yorkshire Day. No way either of them gets out, unless they want to give Rashid a share of the joy.

Halfway there.

Aaaaaaand there it is

Lads, it’s England

Was about to head downstairs to the bar to watch, listened to the last half hour. Flipping heck.

Whenever Buttler plays for England i entertain myself for hours by searching for “Josh Buttler” and “Josh Butler” on Twitter.

Great fun.

Called it

Got down to the bar just as Stokes popped the easiest return catch you’ll ever see to Ashwin.

Fully expecting England to put up a sternish resistance tonight, be out within 45 minutes in the morning, and India to put on 500+.

Yep, Vaughan seems to be under the misapprehension that we want another Boycott (when he moves off this mortal coil). It is actually possible to have an outstanding Test career and not be a twat once you’re a pundit. Perhaps someone should tell him.

I don’t mind Boycott, I know he blathers on about himself a lot.

Vaughan seems to think he needs to polarise opinion for the sake of it. Not a fan.

Yeah, I want implying I didn’t enjoy Boycott’s commentating, more that Vaughan thinks he can set off on that front now, he needs to do the hard yards commentating.
