This is very scary. Absolutely nothing on BBC News or Guardian home page. Think that actually scares me more - just locks in the certainty that nothing will be done
You’re correct, nothing will be done
isn’t one of the main problems that apprenticeships pay £2 a hour
So, we’re getting rid of trial by jury then ?!?!?!
I mean temporarily (lol)
incredibly normal country
I guess you’d firmly have me down as being on the left of the Liberal Democrats.
i don’t, tbh, Tim!
Ya cuppa’s on fire, loser
full body cringe
Are XR very different in the UK to in other countries? been to a couple of meetings here and they’ve been fine, seen them criticised for being wishy washy and favouring privileged white people but they are openly anti-capitalist and intersectional in their induction material so I didn’t really get where that was coming from. Some of the stunts are a bit cringy I guess
I’ve not been to any meetings or anything so will defer to anyone who knows them better, but I’ve not seen the slightest hint of intersectionality or awareness of class in any of their stuff here.
Guess they’re so decentralised that there must be loads of variation between branches
Liverpool branch seems to have it’s shit together, remember them criticizing the London lot for one or two things like cuddling up to the police, etc.

Just like Vlad Putin doing judo topless on horseback, isn’t it?
except way less gainly looking. he looks like he’s just fallen over really severely.
Ministry of Sound?
Mark sedwill on his way being replaced by Boris’ mate. Gonna destroy the civil service as quick as they can
Not quite sure where to post this, but it’s very good
We not going to chat about Boris’s transparent legacy building project that’s mostly moving money around that’s already been allocated?
That probably just about covers it, tbf.
Some of the investment is actually a reduction (spreading it out over 8 years rather than 5).
He’ll be roasted in the papers tomorrow, for sure
There’s no way he’ll get out of this jam
