It’s a really lovely place, probably our 4th time there. The River Test comes through the grounds, there is a good path that goes along the river. House is quite imposing, good formal gardens and a large amount of wild countryside with good walks leading out from the grounds into the test valley.

Isn’t my favourite NT place, but it’s close enough and is quite pretty at this time of year.

Just had a lovely ride on the downs - bit of a cold wind but really sunny. Didn’t take enough food though so was hanging at the end. Just inhaled the snickers duo I was dreaming about for most of the ride - plus lots of shit sugar tax tango I don’t even like, at least it’s flat so easy to drink

Shower, egg bagels and coffee then will probably end up just wandering down to the beach again

reminds me I was in the co-op yesterday and heard some kid say “daddy would you rather die or let you kids die” the dad said “what a stupid questions, I wouldn’t let anyone die” felt like chipping in with “that isn’t really answering the question is it”
