So much victim blaming on the local news shows here, a lot of eye rolling “what’s he done now, what a weirdo”. Utterly disgusting and predictable/disappointing.

Slept with girls in their young tweens and teens back in the day, along with Iggy Pop, Led Zep etc. Was also taken to court for rape in the 80s, although found not guilty.
There were a lot of arguments when he died over how best to acknowledge what he’d done.
Thought it’d be along those lines. Sigh.

This is obviously an absolute footnote in everything else, but just read an article about R Kelly’s bond arrangements and…
At the bond hearing, Greenberg said his client was not a flight risk. He told the judge: “Contrary to the song, Mr Kelly doesn’t like to fly.”
Fucking hell. American lawyers are the absolute worst.

Might have been made up though.
I know. The lyrics just suggest that he believes he can fly. Not that he likes to fly. What a dickhead.
