apparently they used to treat nosebleeds with cocaine on the NHS back in the 70s. my mum used to get chronic ones which stopped after they put a bit of gak up her snout

used to get loads as a kid. they’re rare now but happen very occasionally. sometimes post-cold/hayfever where lots of snot has dried up up there it’ll bleed a bit when i try to clean it out. i’ve learned to just leave that job to nature.
