Reckon they might have to go for a short term solution right now and Sanchez is the most “available”. Surely Arsenal will be relieved to get around £50m for him and him not go to City.

The likes of Dybala and Mbappe would cost ridiculous bunse, especially with the Neymar money public knowledge and at this point in the transfer window. Coutinho has a long term contract and Liverpool have no need to sell. There has been rumours about Dembele moving all summer though, so maybe that one’s possible…

Mmmbop could happen, although didn’t they need to cut down their wages? Sure I saw something at the end of last season saying they couldn’t afford to keep all 3 of MSN, so it’s unlikely they would want to pay what he’ll presumably ask for.

Although if they got him for c. £160m (insane) they’ve still made a profit of £40m to spunk on wages.

imo Barca should spend all that transfer bunse (and extra if need be) on Verratti or Thiago + a direct left forward replacement for Neymar (less of a priority). Someone really young best probably - Ousmane Dembele fits the bill

blessing in disguise to help them address the gaping hole that’s appearing - and only gonna get worse - in their midfield. Iniesta still important but needs to play a backseat role like Xavi in 2014-2015.

Oppurtunity to do something great, but given this board’s record I fully expect them to do something stupid (spending about £120m or something on Countinho would fit in this category for me)

Not sure about that. Made it just that much harder for them to move beyond the late 00s generation. They’re losing the world’s best player elect. A player they wouldn’t have sold and can’t replace. The likes of Veratti and Dembele might have been obtainable anyway without the Neymar money. But there isn’t another Neymar on the market and there probably isn’t another Messi in the academy. It’s a fuck up for me, Clive
