Loftus-Cheek deserved many more chances. This is the year that me being perplexed with the Chelsea loan system reaches peak levels. Loaning Zouma out is the height of stupidity.

Yep. Though a loan now makes sense for RLC given he wasn’t getting the chances. We’ve wasted him by sitting him on the bench for two years when he could have been out playing somewhere.

Selling Chalobah and Ake after they did well in all of their loan spells and in the few chances they got in the first team makes no sense at all.

Yeah just a loan. He’ll do well, come back to us next year, play one cup game, get sold for £10 million, break into the international squad, sign for one of our rivals for £30+ million.

Happening now with Bertrand, fully expecting it to happen with Ake and Chalobah too.

Yeah he only on loan, I thinks he’s exactly what we need and will play. As much as I love Puncheon he’s legs are going.

A central midfield theee of Cabaye - Lofus-Cheek and Milojovic with Zaha and Townsend on the wings should be pretty good.

Also after loaning us Bamford and Remy, Chelsea owe us a good loan.

to make full england debut this year

  • Abraham
  • Chalobah
  • Loftus-Cheek
  • None of 'em

Kyle Walker’s had a strange career path hasn’t he. Went from being a hyped and promising young player, to a bit of a joke and liability, to the best player in his position in the country. As said above, shows the value in good coaching.

Dunno what sport people are watching if they’ve not seen a very, very good player for the last two seasons. 27, homegrown, proven at the top(ish) level - £50m(io) probably actually about right

Must be a Spurs thing. Remember that Welsh left back they had?

AFC Bournemouth to build new 25k seater stadium in Kings Park! The BEST outcome.
Watched it get shelved when we get relegated this season or next

What’s your current capacity? I know it’s small, 14k or so? Seems odd to be building a whole new stadium and still ending up with a relatively small capacity…

I thought this. Aren’t AFC Bournemouth literally pissing money? Literally?

11.5k
25k is huge for a club our size. We definitely dont need anything bigger than that, plus anything bigger probably wouldnt be allowed in Kings Park. So we’d be stuck out by the airport in some soulless place like Brighton are

I mean, a new stadium on the surface seems like an extremely sensible way to piss money away given that it will probably only end up costing about two or three Jordon Ibes or so but it seems a bit limiting to build it so small when it’s from scratch.

doubling capacity and owning our own stadium. By far the most sensible thing we’ve done since having some money

Makes sense, the ol’ planning permission arseholes at it again. Is it going to be owned outright or some kind of also-used-for-other-stuff-in-the-community type of deal?

Not sure really. It’s going to be built on the site of the Athletics stadium, about 200 metres from the old stadium (lol). Think the council are buying the old one? bournemouth own the south stand land, so fuck knows. Old site will probably end up housing and athletics moved somewhere else

Think that would actually be good for both parties (provided Bakayoko is done)

the chamber won’t get a kick for Chelsea will he? Unless they put him on the Victor Moses health and fitness plan :syringe:
